Song for a rainy day in the bookstore

(all apologies to Sharon, Lois and Bram for stealing the Peanut Butter song)

Bo-oo-oks, book, book, book, book. Books.
Bo-oo-oks, book, book, book, book. Books.

First you take the books and you stamp 'em
you stamp 'em.
you stamp 'em, stamp 'em, stamp 'em!

Then you take the books and you price 'em.
You price 'em.
You price 'em, price 'em, price 'em!

Bo-oo-oks, book, book, book, book. Books.
Bo-oo-oks, book, book, book, book. Books.

Next you take the books and you shelve 'em.
You shelve 'em.
You shelve 'em, shelve 'em, shelve 'em!

Last you take the books and you sell 'em
You sell 'em.
You sell 'em, sell 'em, sell 'em!

Bo-oo-oks, book, book, book, book. Books.
Bo-oo-oks, book, book, book, book. Books.

Then someone brings in a box of books to trade and it starts all over again.

Yes, I'm bored. Why do you ask?

LOL!!! I wasn't allowed S, L & B when I was little. They were far too annoying for my pops.

Yep, but catchy!

The highlight of grade 4 was that we got to go to a SL&B concert. Oooohhhh!

It's a kid's song. I think matt mentioned it in one of his blogs.

Peanut, peanut butter. And Jelly.

First you take the peanuts and you dig 'em.
You dig 'em. You dig 'em, dig 'em, dig 'em!

I'll see if I can find an audio or video clip.

Loads of customers would be very nice indeedy!

I'm still processing the 70 boxes of books we got so cheaply a little while ago, too, so it seems never ending.

But the Books song made the usually tedious task go much faster and it was a lot more fun. ;D
