Ugh! I love the beginning of a school year. Inevitably the kid brings home some sort of plague within the first month or so, and she shares. So, she's pretty much over her cold and mine just started last night. Blech.
Perfect weather for it, too. It's been pouring down rain all night and has hardly let up at all. While it did provide me with some good laughs this morning watching Fingal jump over the puddles and being a lunatic while getting dried off (both dogs enjoy the toweling off process immensely and it's a joy to see their gleeful faces), it also means I've been drenched repeatedly. And it's still warmish and muggy, too. I don't expect today to be very busy somehow.

Rain here too, also nonstop. guess it's payback for the summer that never ended... time for hot chocklit, a good book and blogging friends, eh?

It's fun when they like to be towelled. I'm still waiting for grunts. I think I'm very close to getting grunts. :D
lol @ the grunts-maybe groans of pleasure, too! Bronwyn is a big fan of using people as towels wherever possible.
Let's see: good book, check. Blogging friends, check. Just short of the hot chocolate. Darn. Tootsie rolls will have to do. ;)
