Some bling

So, here's my diamonds. Crappy pics. I'll have to try again tomorrow when there's more light.

No one plan a big heist at Skryker's place, lol! The lower pendant is my Gramma V's necklace. I gave it a good cleaning and I'm surprised at how nice a stone it really is. But after all, I didn't realize until tonight that it's open under the edge of the stone. :D There was 30 years of crud under there, I think!

The other stone is one that I won a couple of years ago from Black Diamond Cheese. Really. For their 75th anniversary, they gave away diamonds. LOL, I was so excited when I got the news that I'd won a diamond pendant! And then it came, and it's so tiny! Pretty, though. It throws lots of colour and sparkle.

A super lame picture of the matching wedding bands that Bear and I have now. Bear's still has the scalloped sides; mine is worn down so much the sides are smooth now. I love it all the same.

My thought is to have the diamond that I won set into a ring of some kind. I'm not sure, though. I've never been much of a fan of round diamonds. *blushes* As it is, though, it's far too small and delicate for my neck (which is neither small nor delicate. Short and stumpy is more like it.) Now that I've cleaned up Gramma's stone I'm going to leave it as is for awhile. Maybe, maybe, if Mom finds the other stud, I'll have all three of Gramma's stones set into one ring or necklace. We'll see.

For now I'm just entranced by the pretty sparklies.

The pendant looks a little pokey too. lol

That's so cool about the cheese diamond. Too bad I missed it. :D

I like the idea of the ring or whatever with the three diamonds in it. :)

And I still find it super cute that you now have matching rings. :)

yey!

I found the contest by accident on line, I think. The first prize was a one carat Canadian Diamond; the second prize was the little pendant I won (NOT a Canadian diamond, lol!). I entered on a whim. Sometimes I'm lucky. :)

Gramma's necklace isn't as pokey as it looks, either. Kind of a little star. The edges are long worn smooth. I'm wearing it today. I just wish I could see it.

LOL!! That's why I want to have my pendant turned into a ring. What's the point of wearing diamonds if you can't see 'em?
