Bear made Thanksgiving dinner today while I was working. It was sooooooooooo gooooooddd-both in deliciousness and because I didn't have to do much. :) It's not that I don't like to cook. I love to cook; just not after working all day.
The dogs were just going nuts all day with the smells. Poor beasts! Even Dancer had a little bit of people food. Turkey comas should be kicking in at anytime now, lol!
So I'm feeling pretty good, despite my whine-fest earlier. Got a nice turkey glow happening.
And I am thankful. I'm thankful for my family, near and far. For friends, real world and cyber. For my animals. For the fact that I have roof over my head and good food to eat. I'm thankful that I go to work each day to do something I love doing.
I am thankful, so thankful, for Bear and all the love and support and care he gives me. But most of all, I'm so very thankful that he is still here with me. It would have been a crappy Thanksgiving without him.

And I'm thankful I got to taste some of that food, so I can understand this post in 3-D so to speak. :D
I think it of as the Gods (our Gods, anyways ;) ) wouldn't let him leave yet. He's still got things to do here.
Today, the dogs are still crashed out from their helpings. Silly pups! And although the bully sticks didn't last very long, a hunk of raw rutebega sure did. It was rock hard and it even took Miss Iron Jaw over a half hour to chew it up. And now their teeth look really good, too. (All that fibre can't hurt, either)
That's cool. I have yet to find something to let them chew on that won't make them sick. :D
