Ever just have one of those moments where it seems like the universe gets impatient with you, and decides to slap you in the face with something?
I was just looking at posters online, thinking about getting some book related ones for the store, and I found one that features this quote: "We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same." from Carlos Casteneda.
I'm working on it. :D
I used to have the knack of resilience. Things would maybe make me wobble but just like a Weeble, I didn't fall down. I suppose that I must have some resiliency left or I would have snapped by now. It's just that it's so hard sometimes to crawl out of the depths.
I'm not completely out of the pit of despair but I can see the sun again. I'll take it for now.

Ah, Skryks. You are stronger than you think you are. You've had a ton to deal with just this past summer, more than most people around, and you made it through.
The way I see it, you're not wobbly at all. You just think you are. (hugs)
I used an egg analogy to express how I was once-put pressure on it one way and it's really strong but a sharp blow will crack it-followed by a steel analogy-that steel can be strong but flexible or it can be brittle, like if in the making of a Katana the steel is folded over too much-and Bear called me his "little Samurai Egg." LOL!
I think I'm Piza... I look like I'm gonna fall, nobody knows why I'm still standing, and at the end of the day, there I am, still. :D
Does that mean tourists like to have their picture taken with you, looking like they're holding you up? ;D
Oh, lotsa people like to pretend they're holding me up, that's for sure. :D
No pics though... hmm...
Hi skryker. I'm totally with you on the morning thing. Everyday, I have these grandiose plans for the morning but yet never manage to leave the house before noon. AS for the universe being impatient, I think the universe is really out of whack these days ... seems as though everyone is sooo unsettled (including me). Stay strong, the sunshine makes it all worthwhile :).
Hey, Teri! Thanks. I feel so much better over the last couple of days. It's such a relief.
I think the planets are seriously misaligned lately. Almost everyone I talk to seems out of sorts.
