Monday has wings!

How odd! Normally Mondays limp along, seeming to never end. Today is getting close to over already. Most considerate of it, I think. Thanks, Monday!

Mount Bookmore has been reduced to mere foothills; however, apparently someone dropped off 3 boxes of books on Saturday. Woo hoo! A resevoir!

So I'm hoping to take my cameras and get some fall pics tonight before the sun fades. We'll see. I should also remember to take a knife with me when I drop Bear off at work, so that I can collect some cat tails and interesting grasses on the way back home. Even if I don't use them in the windows right now, they'll come in handy sooner or later. I'll have to call and ask my Mom what the trick is to keep cat tails from going to seed. I think it's spray them with hair spray so they don't get all fluffy.

I'd love to have some of the same in the house but it's so pointless. If the dogs didn't devour them, the cat would make salad from them instead. I love houseplans but I've given up on all but the spider plant in the bathroom. Since it's up on the windowsill above the tub it's managed to survive. The store could benefit from some greenery, too, but I have to get some plants that do well in low light conditions and that can stand the chill in the winter. Last winter it got so cold here at the computer that I could hardly type most of the time. I don't think African Violets would care for that too much.
