One of my favourite authors died on Sunday.
Robert Jordan, writer of The Wheel Of Time fantasy series, lost a battle with a serious blood disease. He was only 58. He was still working on the series, even dictating the next book while in the hospital. In a way, it's fitting that such a sweeping saga might never have an end. It seems more like life that way.
